Frozen Symphony

To Central Market, where the concert is held at The Annexe Gallery. I can't remember exactly when the last time I went there. Felt like a total foreigner asking the locals for directions. When I got into the venue, to my surprise... it looks like a very rundown place! The upkeep of the place undoubtedly looks bad... and it doesn't have a little of what a most basic concert hall should. But in another view point as a photographer... it does looks interesting though.

It was a very mesmerizing night for all. The four divas gave a superb performance to a sell out crowd. It was one challenging photo shoot for me not just in low lights, but I'm restrain from mobility! The first time I encounter such challenge. All the performance shot was taken in 2 spots only (except the final 2 shots of the encore which was from the hanging balcony behind the crowd). I really can't move due to the limited space of the venue, and there is no back door where I could by pass the audiences. Hence I will easily distract anyone if I did (teleporting would be very useful now). But it was a good experience, and the stupendous performance made it all worth while for me.

As I have expected... Friday rush hour... The biggest reason why I refuse to drive downtown... this is the view just after University LRT Station. But what I didn't anticipate was the heavy downpour upon my arrival at Pasar Seni station... My Kata bag has its own raincoat... but I don't... So, I was soaked wet when a sudden wind blew from my east...

Upon my arrival, after cleaning myself up and settled down... work begins... Janet begins her final practices with pianist Joseph.
